Her Story: France M. Tasic

On my previous post I talked about the new J&D Cigars adds featured in Lit Magazine for Women. Well the mystery girl reveled here!! :D Her name is France Mallet Tasic. She was raised in Normandy, but live in Versailles, France prior to South Florida nine years ago. She came to Florida to pursue her passion and hone her make-up artistry skills. Her skills have been displayed in both national and international well known commercials, editorials, films, music videos, television, and catalogs. Funny story, on the day of the photo-shoot, France was actually hired as the makeup artist; however, due to family emergencies of one model and incompetence of another that were going to do the shoot, France stepped in to save the day!

But this wasn't her first run in front of the lenses. She's been featured in Porsche adds, European films ( "The Percentage" and "Weightless"), and one of my favorite TV shows "The Finder." Clearly this is not France's first run at the Rodeo, but she's more than just a model, actress, and make-up artist. She is a woman of many pleasures. She told me how she enjoyed painting with various mediums such as watercolors, oils, pens, and pencils. She's now getting into photography as well. She's taken dance classes and loves to dance Salsa and the Rumba. She enjoys Biking, table tennis, skiing, skating, boating, waterskiing, and even a few other extreme sports!

One of my favorite of her responses is that she loves to travel, which I do as well, but her favorite part of the experience is actually planning her trip! Haha! She likes the planning and the research involved in going in one of her great adventures. But most importantly, France loves being surrounded by her family and friends in Paris, Bordeaux, and Normandy, while enjoying a marvelous "Plateau de fruits de Mer"-- otherwise known as a seafood platter in common American-- and a nice fruity cup of Sauvignon blanc. She did mention that she is more of a cigarette smoker, but often takes pleasure in smoking a delicious cigar from time to time.

It's always a pleasure to talk to these amazing people, France was truly a sweetheart. Personally, I loved talking to her because she not only told me what she did, but who she is.  If you'd like to know more about her work you can visit her website.

PS. France has inspired me, What kinda of crazy things do you enjoy in your life? Leave your answer in the comment section below!

Her Story: Josie Rosa

Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, Josie Rosa came to the beautiful Sunshine State as an aspiring singer/ songwriter. At an astonishingly 6 years of age she wrote her first song and started her professional tract at age 14. Needless to say,she is living her dream, singing in front of huge crowds and expressing her creativity for the population to enjoy. Recently she was starred in a J&D Cigars photo shoot, featuring both  Temptation and Allure Cigars. I was graced with the opportunity to interview her recently.

1. When did you start smoking and why?
  • "I've always been facinated with cigars since my grand father used to make them in Puerto Rico, we used to have a farm there. But, he used to make them only for his personal use.I think I started smoking them a few years ago."
2. You are a singer, do you ever wonder if smoking might become a problem in your career?
  • "Well smoking can be bad for singerers, but only if you smoke too much at a time. I take care of my voice though."
3. What inspired you to become a singer?
  • "I've been writing since I was 6 years old. Music runs in my family, my Mom, Aunt, and others used to sing at churches, special events, and wherever there were instruments and fiesta!"

4. Do you have another job? If so what is it and do you enjoy it?
  • "Well I'm a Massage Therapist and a Skin Specialist too, I wanted to go to college just in case. What I enjoy the most of course is singing!"

6. Is there a traditional dish you enjoy the most from your country of origin?
  • Yes of coarse "Arroz con Gandules and Pasteles", the best!!
7. Is there anything you woould like to tell me about yourself that you would like my readers to know? (i.e. children, favorite cigar, etc.)
"I have one daughter that is the love of my life and my inspiration. My favorite cigar is Temptation! I'm a writer also and I'm in the middle of writing my first book and I'm so exited about it! I love also working out and spending time with my family and friends, plus I love going to the movies, and enjoy music a lot like house/electronica/dance. Love life to the fullest!!!"

If you are interested in listening to her music there are plenty of places that you can check out.

I was really impressed by the spirit that Josie expressed. Very optimistic, kind, and fun. A Fiesta girl! I look forward to talking to her again. I have to give props to Destiny Brown Photography, they really did a great job with the photos.

Her Story: Idelia Mars

Who is Idelia Mars?

You may recognize her from the photos she recently posed in featuring Allure and Temptation Cigars. You might even recognize her as a Russian singer. Oh wait, no she's an actress, you saw her in a dorritos commercial! Needless to say this multitasking beaut is one to look out for.

Idelia was born in Kazan, the capital of the small Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. Her father a classical composer and her mother a singer, she was raised to be an artist. From a very young age, Idelia had a powerful connection to music, writing poems and performing for guests as a young child. Well she did it, now she is an international pop/techno, dance musician.

I had the opportunity to ask Idelia a few personal questions. Not knowing that she was a singer before hand, my question are a bit silly.

2. How did you get into modeling, what is your story?
  • "It's still weird for me to realize that I'm a model :) Im singer-actress. In my republic I was in the covers of the magazines, but not like a model, like a singer. I started modeling when I came to America in 2010. I didnt think about becoming a model. But when people saw my portfolio they said that I'm a true model... So I started modeling to support my life here. My passion is music, but I still think that modeling, singing, and acting are strongly connected... You have to be creative... When you are singing, acting, or modeling you are creating an image..."
3. Do you have another job aside from singing and modeling?
  • "Yes... I'm a dancer too :) I work with Hot Jam Entertainment. we do differenet types of dance shows" she replied, and for those who don't know, Hot Jam Entertainment is a company that provides entertainment services to events such as weddings, Corporate events, etc.
4. What do you do for fun?
  • "I'm writing a movie script for a fantasy movie. I really love to write, dream and fantasize.
5. Do you smoke cigars?
  • "No. I'm singer. I don't smoke at all."
Well, now you're thinking, well if she doesn't smoke why am I writing about her. Aside from the fact that she has created a new image for J&D Cigars, her story really explores the idea of dreaming big and accomplishing that dream. Her dream sustains her life, doing everything that she can to become a greater person. I feel that Idelia Mars and J&D Cigars are exactly alike. It is people like these who represent the American Dream, who show that with enough will you can suceed in whichever domain you'd like.

Aside from that, she's super hot, and I take every opportunity to post about sexy women who have been featured as Temptation girls. I mean look at the video below...

Yeah, you know that was amazing, how she changes her persona like that really thrills me. It was an absolute pleasure to talk to her, she was very charismatic and so kind. I look forward to chatting with her in the future. Until then, if you'd like to listen to more of her music you can visit her site IdeliaMarsMusic.Com or listen on YouTube.

Temptation & Allure Photoshoot With Josie Rosa

As you all should know by now, this provocative cow girl volunteered for a photo shoot featuring J&D Cigars. Her name is Josie Rosa, and what I assume to be an upcoming singer. These photos really brought a sense of ambience to these rising cigars. Not only displaying a sexy woman, but one who represents women of slightly larger sizes. This really says that temptation comes in more than just ultra thin, beauty is everywhere.

I have to give props to the photographer as well for shooting such a beautiful scene, especially in this photo where the sun is shining so brightly you can actually see it's rays penetrate the air.

If you are interested in checking out the photography website just click on the photo, and if you'd like to here some of Josie Rosa's music just click on the links below.

Lit Magazine

This might be slightly old by now, but I have to play catch up for a bit.

Anyways, Lit Lifestyle Magazine for Women has published a full page add on Temptation Cigars! Now I know to most this isn’t a big deal, but I don’t know of a better place to post this seductive Cigar. Lit Magazine aims, not only to please the female cigar enthusiast, but also to represent the whole that is our culture. As the title suggests, this magazine captures a certain lifestyle for women. Its focus is on Cigars, but it engulfs topics such as fashion, entertainment, relationships, and even fitness.

I have to say, by far, the best part is its focus on the aficionada population. It is representative of a completely new culture. This magazine introduces the strong smoking hot women that have become part of this traditionally male dominated cigar culture. Even in the current age that we live, I always find the notion of feminine strength and beauty inspiring. The women discovered here are confident, independent, beautiful, and breaking cultural norms.

Temptation Cigars are part of this new culture, there name alone lures in the type of men and women that know what they want and are not afraid to get it, regardless of the consequences. Giving in to Temptation is not a sign of weakness; rather it is a sign of strength. It is the strength to be confident in whom you are and to attain what you want in life.
