On my previous post I talked about the new J&D Cigars adds featured in Lit Magazine for Women. Well the mystery girl reveled here!! :D Her name is France Mallet Tasic. She was raised in Normandy, but live in Versailles, France prior to South Florida nine years ago. She came to Florida to pursue her passion and hone her make-up artistry skills. Her skills have been displayed in both national and international well known commercials, editorials, films, music videos, television, and catalogs. Funny story, on the day of the photo-shoot, France was actually hired as the makeup artist; however, due to family emergencies of one model and incompetence of another that were going to do the shoot, France stepped in to save the day!
But this wasn't her first run in front of the lenses. She's been featured in Porsche adds, European films ( "The Percentage" and "Weightless"), and one of my favorite TV shows "The Finder." Clearly this is not France's first run at the Rodeo, but she's more than just a model, actress, and make-up artist. She is a woman of many pleasures. She told me how she enjoyed painting with various mediums such as watercolors, oils, pens, and pencils. She's now getting into photography as well. She's taken dance classes and loves to dance Salsa and the Rumba. She enjoys Biking, table tennis, skiing, skating, boating, waterskiing, and even a few other extreme sports!
One of my favorite of her responses is that she loves to travel, which I do as well, but her favorite part of the experience is actually planning her trip! Haha! She likes the planning and the research involved in going in one of her great adventures. But most importantly, France loves being surrounded by her family and friends in Paris, Bordeaux, and Normandy, while enjoying a marvelous "Plateau de fruits de Mer"-- otherwise known as a seafood platter in common American-- and a nice fruity cup of Sauvignon blanc. She did mention that she is more of a cigarette smoker, but often takes pleasure in smoking a delicious cigar from time to time.
It's always a pleasure to talk to these amazing people, France was truly a sweetheart. Personally, I loved talking to her because she not only told me what she did, but who she is. If you'd like to know more about her work you can visit her website.
PS. France has inspired me, What kinda of crazy things do you enjoy in your life? Leave your answer in the comment section below!
